A Day in the Life...preschool

Both Jack and Molly were very lucky to go to St. Paul's Preschool.
It's a wonderful place to be.

In a typical day, Molly can be found doing many things at school.

Painting:
More painting:
Wood-working:
"I'm protecting my eyes, mom"
Molly designed, hammered, and painted this robot:
Crafting:
Sharing:
(this is sharing about our adventures with class mascot, Pinky the Pig)
Adding to her portfolio:
(yes, she calls it that, too)
Lately, she can be found playing post office.
They bring, mail, and receive 2 valentines each day.
Each day, the kids have different roles to play.

I am so thankful for all the people who make St. Paul's a special place.
(especially Molly's teacher who takes hundreds of pictures each month...
and, of course, Nana, who makes it all happen!)

four is...stupendous!

*The word four has four letters.

In the English language there is no other number
whose number of letters is equal to its value.

*Many things are arranged in fours.
There are four suits in a deck of cards, four points of the compass,
and four phases of the moon.
There are four wings on a bee and
four leaves on a clover, if you are lucky.
We celebrated Molly's 4th, doing what she wanted to do.
A train ride to San Juan Capistrano to see the animals.
See her in the window?

They have naked guinea pigs there.
Or "SKINnea pigs" as they called them.
They were really creepy.
But not to my animal loving 4 year old.

Then we went to Disneyland.
This is the only picture that I took.
Then a family dinner and cake at Papa and Nana's.
So far, 4 is pretty fun!

p.s..There are only 4 words in the English language which end in 'dous': hazardous, horrendous, stupendous and tremendous

last day for 3

Dear Molly,
When I kissed you goodnight, you were still 3 years old.
Tomorrow, when I kiss you good morning,
you will be 4.
Tonight, at dinner, your big brother said,
"My gut tells me that Molly is going to do well as a 4 year old."
I think Jack is right.
