A favorite from preschool....

tea cups

You need to turn on your speakers, but not TOO high!

I caught Molly's reaction to her first teacup ride!

Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?

Bella and her big sister, Ali.
Ali was the bone marrow donor for her baby sister.
Is there a sweeter fingerprint on the planet?
I doubt it.
I'm walking in Bella's name at the CHOC Walk next month.
I can't imagine a greater honor.

For more fingerprints, visit the Rusted Chain.

another first day

Today was the day she's been waiting for.
Molly started pre-school at St. Paul's today with Nana.
My baby.
It's emotional enough because I taught at St. Paul's before I got my credential.
And, I met the family I was a nanny for at St. Paul's.
And, my aunt is the director there.
And, I met the friend who would later introduce me to my husband, at St. Paul's.

You see what I mean?

But, Molly was SO ready for this!
Waiting for the bell.
The big yellow slide.
Painting with water.
Exploring how things work.
Saying a quick prayer before snack.
Painting a picture for the fridge.
A wonderful first day. Tuesdays just may be her favorite day of the week.
And, just for fun...look who had HIS first day of St. Paul's 5 years ago...

Team Bella

So...are you....
Team Jacob? or Team Edward?
Me?
I am 100% TEAM BELLA!
Encouraged by her story and inspired by her family's faith,
I have started up TEAM BELLA at this year's CHOC Walk.
Bella spent her first weeks of life at CHOC,
and it's an HONOR to walk in her name.
Bella's dad challenged her blog readers to simply
"make a difference" in their community.
This is one way I can help.
Will you help me?
Click HERE to donate to CHOC or to join TEAM BELLA!
If you can't donate, please visit their blog,
and keep Bella in your prayers.

Taking notes

So, Jack has an iPod.
And apparently has self taught himself how to use the "notes" app.
He has over 15 notes stored in there.
Here are a few, copied as they were typed,by my 7 year old. On his iPod....

- Pandas are cute and awesome.
- I like the pool.
- Argo is cool. (side note, Argo is the police dog in the family)
- I love legos.
- Shamu is cool.
- Curse you Perry the platypus!!! ( from Phineas and Ferb)
- One day I went to Zoomarz and I met this cute brown bunny. We were best friends. But when I had to leave I said goodbye. I got sad. But I still remember him. The end
- I have the wampa cave ( star wars Lego set)
- I like movies.
- i love red birds.
- I have a panda web kin.
- Brownie is so cute.

But, the most impressive? The entire theme song to Phineas and Ferb.
Seriously, google it. It's so long, even I don't want to type it!

I loved finding these little notes...I just love this kid!
