One COOL Dude...
I decided to take Jack out to dinner tonight. No big deal...we walked to Carls Jr. I also promised a trip to Baskin Robbins if he ate all his dinner.
As we were walking, he asked, "Mom, did you think of ice cream because it's so hot out today? That will cool us off..."
On the way back, he commented, "Good idea, Mom. I am COOL now. But, Mom, not 'cool'
as in, 'I'm fantastic'...but cool like I just went swimming."
My response..."Jack, today you are both!"
What a cool kid....

**on a side note, Molly and I enjoyed our last Monday together (I go back to work next week!).
We met my friend, Ana and her new daughter Mia at the mall and actually WENT TO THE MOVIES! Molly and Mia missed most of 27 Dresses, but were silent the whole time...cute movie. Molly will have to rent it someday!

Happy Easter!
Happy Easter!
Love,
Sara, Ken, Jack, and Molly
We missed Daddy this morning at Easter basket time...but we took lots of pictures at home and at Nana's house. Jack and Jacob were great basket detectives...and egg hunters.
Molly, well, she just looked cute in her pink dress (play to your strengths, right?).

Happy Birthday!
We celebrated Jack's "real" birthday at Goofy's Kitchen, where he had lots of fun things to eat!
At school, Jack celebrated with his friends. He knew exactly what he wanted on his cupcakes...white cake, white frosting, with chocolate chips on top. I suggested we add a "j" on each cupcake, since that was the Letter of the Week in his class. He didn't go for that, instead suggested we make a cupcake for each of his friends, with THEIR letter on THEIR cupcake. Deciding that was just too much work...I offered the idea to decorate the cupcakes with the number 5...he seemed to think this was acceptable. However, after thinking it over, he told me,

"Mom, you can put a 5 on them, but you need to put 4 and a half on Miles' because he's not 5 yet"...
Needless to say, everyone got a 5 :)

"We are just celebrating"
We had Jack's birthday party early this year. When someone would wish him a Happy Birthday, he'd explain, "It's not really my birthday yet...It's on March 15th, but we are just celebrating it early today"...
We had the party with Jack's best girl friend, Christina...lots of friends came, even their teacher came to jump at Pump It Up...Molly came too...can't you see the enthusiasm?
