We celebrated Jack's "real" birthday at Goofy's Kitchen, where he had lots of fun things to eat!
At school, Jack celebrated with his friends. He knew exactly what he wanted on his cupcakes...white cake, white frosting, with chocolate chips on top. I suggested we add a "j" on each cupcake, since that was the Letter of the Week in his class. He didn't go for that, instead suggested we make a cupcake for each of his friends, with THEIR letter on THEIR cupcake. Deciding that was just too much work...I offered the idea to decorate the cupcakes with the number 5...he seemed to think this was acceptable. However, after thinking it over, he told me,"Mom, you can put a 5 on them, but you need to put 4 and a half on Miles' because he's not 5 yet"...
Needless to say, everyone got a 5 :)
