fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?

Here's the great thing about our Jack.

See this UNICEF box?
He got it at church, in hopes he would collect money trick or treating.
But, Jack? He filled it almost entirely on his own.
Emptied his own piggy bank, even stuffed his $2 bills in the box.
He won a roll of nickels at Boo at the Zoo, it immediately went in the little orange box.
I already blogged about a lesson learned. But I love the sweet soul he is.
He's also very funny. Here's a section of his Christmas list:

It's wonderful to see fingerprints in our own kids.

Be sure to check The Rusted Chain for more!

Love that sweet smart kid!!!!! He grows and changes before my eyes each day! I love that he gives and gives to others...he sees you and Ken and Nana do it all the time! And if he gets the million dollars that he put on his Xmas list, he can buy all the kids in our state their two front teeth!

When I was a kid we used to get those little Unicef boxes at church or Brownies and harass all the neighbors during the week before Halloween. And I love that he hit me up for my spare change a few times when I arrived to watch Molly. After the umbrella incident I'm pretty sure that he "gets it". I hope he was listening when I told him how proud I am that he shared his nickels from Boo at the Zoo. He's a very thoughtful kid!
