After missing the bell today at recess, Jack found that his class had already lined up and had gone back to the room. When he told me about it today, I explained that just like a mom, teachers worry. I told him, think about when we are at a store, and I can't see you. I get worried right? (yes, he agreed). So, I said, teachers have 24 "kids" to worry about...so, it made your teacher nervous when you weren't there. After apologizing, with some tears, he decided to write his teacher a letter, all on his own. ( I know, it's hard to see, my scanner isn't working, so I had to take a picture of it). I am proud of Jack tonight. I always am, but tonight, he made me especially proud :)

I imagine that when Jack realized his class had disappeared that HE was feeling nervous, too. Glad he was able to put those feelings into words; I'm sure Jenn will appreciate his heartfelt note.
He has the sweetest spirit and good conscience that so many kids today don't have.
Awww...Sarah, this happened to me in Kinder. I still really remember it. Glad to hear Jack is handling it well:) Tomorrow is a new day where I am sure he will listen closely for the bell:)
Such a sweet kid!
Oh how sweet!!
I did appreciate the note and what made it even more special was that he wanted to do it on his own. He is so sweet :).
