Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

For those of you that I actually talk to, you know that this year's Kindergarten class has brought many frustrations.
But, when I was looking for a Fingerprint Friday picture, I kept coming back to this one.
Regardless of the daily craziness (and trust me, it's daily), I am still able to look back and see the blessings.
I have known since I was in first grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I was the kid who never had recess time, because I would go back to previous teachers to "help".
This is my 10th year teaching- 5 years in first grade, and 5 years in Kindergarten.
I see the fingerprints everyday (even when I am in the middle of chaos!).

A very wise principal once told me that for every 10 years you teach, you have a class that will test your patience, your faith in yourself and your career choice, and leave you wondering whether the children were raised by wolves. She also said that by looking backward to previous classes, you'll find the strength to cope and the hope that your patience and education will shine through. And after all is said and done, THESE are the classes that teach you the most about yourself. They're lucky to have you for their teacher!

My son is in kindergarten, and all I have to say is, God bless his teacher. She is warm and fun and sweet and has unbelievable energy. God bless teachers! The Lord will give you strength and patience through every crazy moment!

I want to know more about the little boy on the left hand side. I hope he isn't the one causing all the problems.
